Hi Sharon

I am currently studying my third language and have an agriculture background specifically in the potato business being here from the state of Idaho USA.

I am looking into moving temporarily to the Saskatchewan Canada area.

Is there a big need for those two skills up there? I'm looking here on the site and not seeing that.

In order work temporarily in Canada you must have a job offer from a Canadian employer and a written confirmation from Human Resources and Skills Development Canada (HRSDC) that the employer can hire you to fill the job. In most cases, it is up to your employer to get that written confirmation.

Agricultural work is usually in demand in Saskatchewan. However to find more information please go to the official website of Saskatchewan and browse the working in Saskatchewan section.

Once you have secured employment with an employer in Canada, and your employer has obtained a positive labour market, you will require a work permit from Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIC).
