According to Australia citizenship and immigration with work sponsored visa 457 you can bring any eligible secondary applicants with you to Australia. secondary applicants can work and study.

Second applicant maybe a partner, dependent child of partner and other relatives

Other relatives may be considered in the application if they meet all of the following:

  1. They have no other relative able to care for them in their own country.

  2. They are currently not married, engaged or in a de facto relationship.

  3. They are usually resident in your household.

  4. They rely on you for financial support for their basic needs.

  5. You have supported them for a substantial period.

  6. They rely on you more than any other person or source.
