Dear Sharon

I have completed my two years of pharmacy technician course from Niagara College and now I have three years of work permit.

I went to India last December for my marriage. I am planning to apply for spouse visa for my wife in November.

Am I eligible to apply for spouse visa for my wife? Is there any chance that she will get the visa? If yes or no what I have to do?

Dear Kenny

Thanks for your inquiry (please note that I am not an immigration officer).

According Canada Citizenship and Immigration your spouse can accompany you to Canada or visit you in Canada, but she must meet all the requirements for temporary residents to Canada and for a temporary resident visa (if needed).

Your spouse will need to fill out and sign her own individual visa application (visitor, student or worker), and she may have to provide a marriage certificate.

Your spouse might also be eligible to work in Canada and might even be eligible for an open work permit. More information about this can be found in here

As regards to her chances to get a visa ? The decision is up to the immigration officer and each case get judged individually, so I do not know what are the chances of her getting a visa to Canada.
