Hello.

I am a U.S. citizen who will be joining my spouse to live in Toronto, Canada.

I have read online that U.S. citizens abroad have to file taxes and any income less than around 90,000$ is tax exempt.

I will be making close to $300,000 in Canada and will be subject to Canadian taxes.

My question is how much additional taxes approximately will I have to pay to the U.S. government? Am I subject to double taxation?
