Dear Sharon

I am Filipino working in UAE for more than 4 years and wish to apply for a Canadian TRV to visit my brothers family for 30 days only and will come back to UAE after my approved 30 days vacation.

Is there any chance for me to get TRV if my brother will be the one to send the invitation letter?

Thanks for your inquiry (please note that I am not an immigration officer).

I believe a letter of invitation from your brother might help. However according to CIC website:

"A letter of invitation does not guarantee that a visa will be issued. Visa officers assess the applicant to determine whether they meet the requirements of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act."
