Hi Sharon

I am a Canadian Registered Nurse. I am interested in exploring travel nursing opportunities.

I have been registered in MN and received my permanent resident card in 2005. However, I had to return to Canada in 2006.

I have a varied background in nursing with occupational health being the most recent.

I would appreciate any information you may be able to provide.

You can try the following 3 options:

1. You can look for travel nurse agencies. Most of the agencies place nurses in hospitals located throughout the United States on both short-term travel nurse jobs as well as permanent placement positions.

To find an agency just look in google for travel nursing/nurses agencies

2. You can start searching by yourself through career job websites. One of those websites is www.careerjet.com - It is a job search engine designed to make the process of finding a job on the Internet easier for the user. It maps the huge selection of job offerings available on the Internet in one extensive database by referencing job listings originating from company websites, recruitment agency websites and large specialist recruitment sites.

All you need to do is enter into the travel nursing jobs search box, the Job title in the what rubric and the state in the where rubric, then click on the find button and you will be presented with lots of jobs options.

3. You can submit your resume to ResumeXposure.com They will deliver your resume directly to the email inbox of hundreds of recruiters and employment agencies working jobs in Minnesota.
