Tokyo - The Most Exciting City In The World

(TokyoTopGuide)

If you're expecting a laid back Asian city, you're in for a big surprise...

Tokyo is a bustling, Modern and very sophisticated city, with a touch of oriental in the background.

There's no better way to get to know the city than walk into the local neighborhoods and find those remote little shinto shrines tucked away.
By the way - Tokyo is a very safe city. There's no dangerous quarters, and if you accidentally step onto the wrong train, there's no need to panic. The Tokyo subway is very safe at all times. That's one of those wonderful things about Japan.

If you're coming over for a long stay, you're probably wondering Where to rent a house? If you are concerned about location, note that the Tokyo Subway is very efficient and easy to use, and all Tokyo spots are conveniently connected by the subway. There isn't a spot in Tokyo that is more than 5 min walk from a subway station.

Rush hours in Tokyo are an issue to consider. Like many other big cities in the world, Rush hours in Tokyo are from 7.30am to 9am and from 5pm to 7pm. The difference lies in the numbers - Tokyo Transportation system serves around 35 million people a day!

One of the most important Tokyo facts to know before arriving is that your Cell Phone In Japan will probably not work. This is because of different technologies used in Japan. However, this also depends on the style and type of your phone. The best is to check this with your local service provider in advance.

Many people feel very suspicious regarding Japan Food.Especially when they bump into Raw fish, Sea weed, and Japanese Desserts made from red bean paste? If you're coming over with kids, things are even more complicated.

Remember - Foods in Japan are probably the Best for your Health. The people of Japan are known for their extraordinary health and slow aging.
The Japanese people have one of the longest life spans in the world. On top of that - everyone looks so much younger comparing to their age group in western countries...so there must be something to the Japanese Diet.

As for children - If your kids are like mine, they'll eat the same two 'safe' dishes they find over and over again for a long time...

Never the less, every Japanese meal includes a large variety of small dishes, so there's always a chance they'll find something they like. There's also a lot of noodles. Perhaps that will suit their taste? And if worst comes to worst, there's always rice.
