by Sanjay K
(Chandigarh, India)

Hi Sharon!

I want to apply for study permit to Canada.

I had completed my graduation in 2004 and since then I'm working full time.

Can I apply for student visa for canada?

Thanks and regards,

Study Visa to Canada and Long Gap in my Studies
by: Sharon - Expats Guide

Dear Sanjay

Thanks for your inquiry (please note that I am not an immigration officer).

Before you apply for a student visa to Canada you must be accepted for studies by a Canadian University. Each University has its own requirements for admission.

You can find in the following link information that was published by citizenship and immigration Canada about the different types of school and institutions in Canada.

Use this to find the university and program you would like to apply for and then check the university requirements.

Please come back and tell us how it is going

Best of Luck
Sharon
