Hi Sharon

I am a student in Canada and I am basically from India.

Can I apply for my spouse visa of my husband?

He has a diploma in plumbing.

Can a student apply for spouse visa of his/her spouse?

Dear Jatinder

Thanks for your inquiry (Please note that I am not an immigration officer)

You can contact Canada citizenship and immigration and request to apply for a visa to your husband.

Please note that your husband must meet all the requirements for a temporary residents in Canada.

He must satisfy an officer that he will be in Canada for a temporary stay, and he may be required to provide evidence that he has no criminal record.

You may be required to provide a marriage certificate and a proof that you will be able to support him in Canada.
