Hi Sharon

I was in Saudi Arabia for 4 years but no longer reside there.

I live in Nigeria now and Canada embassy here in Nigeria requested for Police clearance from Saudi.

I contacted Saudi embassy here in Nigeria and I was clearly told that they don't assist in the processing of police clearance. I also contacted a friend in Saudi to do it on my behalf but the request was also rejected.

What do I do if I am unable to obtain Saudi police clearance?

Do I request for police clearance waver with reasons.

Thanks for your inquiry (please note that I am not an immigration officer).

I have searched the website of the embassy of Saudi Arabia in Canada and this is what they have published regarding obtaining a police certificate from Saudi Arabia:

"The Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia regrets to inform you that starting November 3, 2010, we no longer can obtain police clearance for former residents of Saudi Arabia through this embassy.

To obtain a police clearance from Saudi Arabia you are advised to contact your embassy here in Canada or in Saudi Arabia for more information."

I would therefore suggest that you contact your country's embassy in Saudi Arabia and/or the Canadian Embassy in Saudi Arabia and check with them the procedure for obtaining a police clearance from Saudi Arabia.
