Hi Sharon,

I am moving to Toronto from Dubai with my family in Feb 2011.

My son will be in Grade 3 at that time.

Do canadian schools admit new students in the middle of the semester?

According to Settlement.org- Welcome to Ontario In elementary school, children are usually placed in a grade according to age.

In secondary school, students usually take an assessment so that they can be placed in the right grade.
