Processing time for a Canadian student visa application from India

Hello Sharon

I applied for study visa for University of Waterloo, Canada on 11th July, 2011.

I got a letter from embassy to submit the receipt of fees from university and scholarship documents which I submitted on 28th July.

After that, there is no update till date.

How many more days I have to wait to hear the decision and is there any chance of refusal now?

Thanks for your inquiry (please note that I am not an immigration officer)

According to Canada Citizenship and Immigration the processing time of a Canadian student visa for student visa application in India, New Delhi is 4 weeks based on a complete application package.

The application that you submitted on 11 July was not complete as it was missing the receipt fees from the university and the scholarship documents. Therefore it would probably take a little longer to process your application.
