I am not an immigration officer, but I can recommend to you the following:

Start be downloading Working and Living as a Nurse Down Under

This is an exciting new eBook written by Emma Bates a Registered Nurse from the U.K who is working as a nurse in Australia. This excellent e-books aims to equip internationally qualified nurses with information prior to arriving in Australia and starting work in its health service.

Working and Living as a Nurse Down Under includes information on preparation international nurses need to undertake (and what they need to know) up front, how much it is likely to cost, where they might think about living and how to obtain the right Australian visa, as well as lots of technical information, from hospital contact details and advice on getting a job, to drug calculation checklists and National Inpatient Medication Charts.

You can gather more information about visa options for nurses in Australia in this link.

Information about Australian Occupational Trainee visa can be found in here.

You should be aware that all All nurses and midwives who are applying for migration to Australia must prove English Language Proficiency by completing and passing one of two accepted tests in one sitting. This ensures that they are able to communicate competently and safely with health-care consumers and their families, colleagues and other health professionals.

The test are called - International English Language Testing System (IELTS) and Occupational English Test (OET)

You can find hereunder a link to a study guide for the IETLS test study guide. This excellent guide will teach you step by step how to pass successfully the IELTS test.

Best Of Luck
Sharon
