My Canadian visa refused because of.....

by NM

Hi Sharon

I'm a student studying English language, after that I'll take bachelor degree in Business.

Now I'm in my home-country to visit my parents.

I applied to renew my study visa but the officer refused it although I have scholarship.

The reasons for refusal are:

You have not satisfied me that you would leave Canada at the end of your stay.

In reaching this decision, I considered several factors, including:

Purpose of visit.

Past academic performance and attendance is poor, which leave me unsatisfied that you are a genuine student visitor to Canada.

For the last reason, I really missed many classes because all the time I was sad and thinking of my family because this was the first time i travel abroad. But now I remorse. I'll work hard to be better than before. I just want him to give me a chance.

How can I prove that?

Thanks, NM

Canadian visa refusal
by: Sharon - Expats Guide

Dear NM
Thanks for your inquiry (please note that I am not an immigration officer).

According to Canada Citizenship and Immigration

"If you believe that you have new information that was not previously considered or if you believe that circumstances have changed since the refusal, you may wish to submit a new application. This new application will normally be assessed by a different visa officer and all current information will be taken into consideration."

You can add a letter to the new application explaining what happened the first time you have been in Canada and request for an interview with the immigration officer.

Best of Luck
Sharon
