I am moving back to Oz from UAE - will I get charged taxes/customs on Electrical Items, i.e.TV,Laptop etc?

Are there any special exemptions for people moving back to their home country?

When bringing personal items into Australia you must consider 2 things:

Australian Quarantine Regulations - Food, plant material and animal products from overseas could introduce serious pests and diseases into Australia. Therefore you must declare for inspection all food, plant material and animal products on arrival in Australia to ensure they are free of pests and diseases.
