I am currently studying diploma in Mechanical Engineering in Maria Polytechnic College (Anna University) (INDIA) 1st year student.

I really would like to pursue my studies in canada.
Is it possible

Will I be able to continue my studies in Canada?

Thanks for your inquiry (please note that I am not an immigration officer).

Information about studying in Canada and applying for a study permit can be found at Imagine - Studying in Canada website.

In general, you can pursue your studies in Canada. First you have to choose in which university you would like to learn and then apply for admission. After you are accepted you will need yo apply for a permit visa through the Canadian Embassy in India.

Please note that Canada also offer a program called SPP especially for students coming from India. This program might also be of interest to you.

The main intake is September and its now late for the same unless you already have got an IELTS TRF in hand.
