Hi Sharon

I am currently working in the US as an Expat and I would like to bring my husband over here?

Can he come here under the reason that he is married to me?

Can he get a visa to the U.S.A that way?

Thanks for your inquiry (Please note that I am not an immigration officer)

You did not mention what type of visa you hold. If you are a holder of one of the H categories visa then your spouse may also apply for the same type of visa in order to accompany or join you.

However, you must be able to show that you are able to support him in the U.S.

A person who has received a visa as the spouse of a temporary worker may not accept employment in the U.S.
