How to Extend Australia Student Visa Subclass 575?

I am an international nurse and I have completed my ARNTP course in SA/Australia, which is a 6 months course.

I am on the Australia visa subclass type 575 and it will expire on 10/05/2009.

I have completed my course successfully and got registration as a registered nurse in SA and QLD.

I am now waiting to get a job and extend my visa but I haven't got an offer yet and my visa will expire shortly. I also have a no further stay (nfs) in my visa.

So I would like to know whether I can extend my visa further as a tourist or bridging visa until I get a job.

First, I must emphasize that I am not an immigration officer.

However I did some searching and registered nurses have a great demand in Australia.

As a registered nurse you might qualify for a skilled visa.
