Having Expat Data in Host Country

Hi Sharon,

Do you or your readers have an opinion on managing / keeping expat data in the host country?

Are expat payments/salary info/etc usually kept in the country the expat is worknig in, or kept centrally in another area?

What would the risks be in having expat data available/accessible to 'local' staff be?

Thanks,

Having Expat Data in Host Country
by: Sharon - Expats Guide

Hi

Thanks for your inquiry. You have raised a very important and critical question especially with today?s advanced technology.

I assume that it depends on the company you are working for and on the country you are residing in.

But as I am not an expert on this subject I will leave this question open and welcome any response from experts in this matter.

Best of Luck
Sharon
