Got Student Visa Refusal from Canada

by Vaibhav Sharma
(India)

Hello Everyone

My name is Vaibhav Sharma.

I have done my +2 from non medical grounds. I have applied for a study visa to Canada in hospitality management. But I was refused twice.

The reasons for the first refusal are:

"You have not satisfied me that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay Because:

  1. Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of your qualification, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, other educational opportunities available in India or Canada, language abilities ,or your future prospects and plans.

  2. We don’t have ample of time to process your file”

The reasons for the second refusal are:

"You have not satisfied me that you will leave Canada by the end of the period authorized for your stay because:-

  1. Your proposed studies are not reasonable in light of one or more of your qualification, previous studies, employment, level of establishment, other educational opportunities available in India or Canada, language abilities ,or your future prospects and plans.

  2. You don’t have any source of accommodation in Canada”

Can I appeal the decision? Or the decision is final and absolute?

Can I make a complaint supported by evidence and documents to the Immigration Minister? Does it work this way?

Anyone can advise?

Thanks
Vaibhav Sharma

Student Visa Refusal from Canada
by: Sharon - Expats Guide

Dear Vaibhav

Thanks for your inquiry (Please note that I am not an immigration officer.

According to the High Commission of Canada in India ? "Written reasons for the refusal are given to unsuccessful Study Permit applicants.

Once you are in possession of the written reasons, there are limited avenues for appeal. There is no formal appeal mechanism for refused Study Permit applications.

The Visa Section is not able to assist with the refund of school fees.

If your circumstances have changed appreciably and you believe that it would result in a different decision, you may wish to reapply. If, however, there is no change in your situation, then it is unlikely that your application would result in the issuance of a Study Permit."

So, if you have any evidence or documents that can support your application and convince the Canadian immigration officer that you will leave Canada after your graduate then you can try to apply for A student visa to Canada again.

Best of Luck
Sharon
