Gap in my Studies and a Canadian student Visa

by Divesh
(Chandigarh, India)

Hello Sharon

I am Divesh from India. I have done my 1Oth in 2002, and my +2 in 2007, and then I did nursing and now I am working with a reputed hospital.

I am planning to go to Canada to further my studies. Will the gap in my studies affect my Canadian student visa chances?

Please help me, I am very much confused to file a visa application, because I do not want to be rejected.

I got 6 bands over all in my ielts exam.

I will wait for your answer.

Thank you.
Divesh

Gap in my Studies and a Canadian student Visa
by: Sharon - Expats Guide

Dear Divesh

Thanks for your inquiry (please note that I am not an immigration officer).

If you intend to continue your studies in a field that is related to your previous studies and to your current work experience then I do not think the gap in your studies would affect your visa chances.

Best of Luck
Sharon
