Dear Sharon,

Hi!

I applied for a student permit to Canada for MBA.

My application got refused as i was not able to satisfy the Visa officer that i will return back to India after my education.

My case is a bit complicated as i was refused permanent immigration to Canada when my Uncle adopted me, but, he was unaware that his wife was pregnant at that time. So, all my certificates and my passport show my Uncle's name as my father's name and he stays in Canada.

What can i do to reapply and prove that i will return back to India after studies? And do you have an idea what are the chances of success in that case.

Thanks for your e-mail.

First, let me emphasize that I am not an immigration officer.

I am sorry that your student visa application to Canada was refused.

When things get complicated the best option is to consult with an expert. In your case I would search for a good immigration lawyer. Someone who has exeprience and knowledge about visa regulations in Canada.

Although hiring a lawyer can be a little expensive, I believe that this will be your best choice.
