Canada Study Visa with Spouse
by: Sharon - Expats Guide

Dear Harleen

Thanks for your inquiry (Please note that I am not an immigration officer)

Before you can apply for a study permit, you must have been accepted at a recognized school, university or college in Canada.

You can find in here information on how to choose a school, college or university in Canada.

As for your spouse - If you wish your spouse to accompany you to Canada or to join you at a later date, you must provide proof that you will be able to support him.

In addition, your spouse must meet all the requirements for temporary resident in Canada, and may also be required to provide evidence that he is a law abiding and has no criminal record.

You should include your spouse on your application. Please note that you may be required to provide a marriage certificate

Best of Luck
Sharon
